Poster Contest - 2010 Print this page 2010 Poster Contest
The 2010 Fire Prevention Week is fast approaching. Fire Prevention Week this year, is the week of October 4th – 8th. Again, the Pasadena Fire Department and the Pasadena Fire Marshal’s Office are proud to sponsor the annual Fire Prevention Poster Contest. The contest is open to all schools within the City limits of Pasadena. The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is:
“SMOKE ALARMS!”
A sound you can live with
We expect a large number of entries this year as in the years past, so we have to set the school judging a little earlier this year than in years past. The school judging will be September 13th – October 1st. We ask your assistance in having your posters ready on Friday, September 10th (hung in the hallway and keeping grade levels together) so we can finish all the schools in the scheduled weeks.
The first and second place poster winners for each grade level from each school will be on display to the public the week of October 5th- 9th at the Pasadena Town Square Mall (near the fountain).
